What if Dooku turned back to the light-side in Dark Rendezvous?

What if Yoda managed to convert Dooku back to the jedi in Dark Rendezvous without Anakin and Kenobi ruining it?

Palpatine is exposed and probably tries Order 66 sooner

He would have been interrogated, then tried for multiple war crimes and executed.

Sidious would have force choked him and killed him before he could give any important information to the republic and then gotten a new apprentice.

Sidious would adapt and overcome

Nihilus never choked someone across space, which is what you're suggesting.

Sheev only survived because they didn't know who he was. If Dooku is redeemed then his secrets are revealed and then he's just about screwed.

Yeah, but he could sense if anyone thought about him anywhere in the galaxy. So why would he not be able to force choke anyone anywhere in the galaxy?

And is there a quote saying that force users need communication with people to force choke them? I mean, isn't that kind of stupid?

So why can't Sheev just anonymously choke to death fodder jedi for fun then?

In the prequel era, people would be suspiscious, and in the original trilogy era, the jedi were trying their best to hide.

I think that if Dooku would have fully atoned for his actions, and revealed all of Palpatine's underlying machinations, Yoda would have pulled every string possible to get him acquitted of his crimes. /shrug
