I can see Clark performing atomic surgery with his vision powers, but if DS gets into him, it's over.

in an unplanned encounter i could def see despotellis taking him out. in a vs match though, kal would know who he is fighting and with his senses he might as well be fighting ranx--he'd easily find and track despotellis and then it just becomes supes vs any yellow lantern, and since not even sinestro is beating him, i don't see despotellis faring any better. /shrug

The thing is, he survived his brain being exposed and all, but the bomb was presumably outside the brain. What's Clark gonna do if Despotellis invades a major organ? Fry his own heart/brain/whatever he needs to live?

Zod REMOVED HALF HIS BRAIN. Cut is right out, with the bomb..

And he was acting normally.

Yeah, not sure what he's gonna do here. Despotellis wouldn't just be concentrated in a single area like a cancer tumour or a bomb.
