Why Darth Krayt is considered a fake Sith?

Darth Krayt was mentored and initiated by XoXaan - one of the foremost Dark Lords of the Sith. If anything - Darth Bane and his 'descendants' are fake Sith.

No idea about the other two, but Bane had a serious ideological clash with him.
