She probably is a better fighter than Gamora now. With everyone else getting unofficial upgrades, she is worse in every aspect including fighting skills.

What are you basing this off of? One writer? That's not how it works. You can't discount her other great showings because of one.

Vizen can take on the durability of a dung beetle and tank blows from Despero. How is she not more durable??? She can take on yhe strength of dinasoars and has fought class 100 bricks with it. Vixen os stronger, more durable and faster by an order of magnitude

Vixen could always poison Gamora, like she did with Lord Havok

The famous Amazo scene.

She's also durable enough to take blows from Superman.

Let's not act that Vixen sucks at fighting. She was trained by Bronze Tiger, one of the better MA in comics. Top 15, at least.

Tbf, Zack, in some of those showings she wasn't taking on animal abilities, but the abilities of her team mates. Which makes sense as they're all animals etc .

Yeah, she had that ability for a brief time.

So again we're talking about an extremely limited amount of appearances versus spectacular feats. Okay, provided that we aren't willing to low ball Gamora by showcasing her less than stellar feats, against the best that Vixen has, I'm still not seeing how Vixen outclasses her?

Powers don't mean auto-win in fights, and Gamora has proven that she has no problem keeping up with extremely fast and extremely skilled opponents. More skilled than Vixen in Angela's case.

In all of the scans presented, I didn't really see anyone extremely skilled that Vixen took down.

Then we see Superman pulling his punches against her while in an armored form. All good stuff, but she would never beat anyone like Superman. It's a bunch of fluff.

Besides Gamora used a pressure point strike to put the Thing down, as well as several other characters. Can we forget that she did that? But with Vixen do we just disregard all of the eras and writers that she's being pulled from to present her at the top of her game?

It's the only way that we can pretend that Vixen is as dangerous a fighter imo.

I can't see Vixen doing all that well against Angela, so in this case powers alone are most certainly not the deciding factor.

You talking about the Gamora/Angela tussle during Angela's initial appearance?

She has over 200 appearances since DnA left. She has just over 150 appearances before that. She has about 360 appearances not counting non canon or handbooks.

She used to be impressive, now she isn't. If you take her prior to her getting Bendised over, it'd be a lot better for her. One alright showing against Angela doesn't make a huge difference considering you'd be counting the rest of what she has or hasn't done in that period. She had trouble with Storm in a swordfight while she had a "cosmic" upgrade. Among the many times she's been knocked out by beings that would never touch her before.

According to ComicVine, Gamora has more appearances than Vixen. Vixen is just overall more impressive, with the amount of appearances she has. She takes it.

So you could be counting the same issue 10 times from Real words, to Mexican to a reissue to a collection, etc. Comicvine is also a piece of shit to navigate.

She has some pretty good showings. I do recall one crazy showing. Trans tier level. Kinda screwy really.
