Thor definitely has a way to beat him though, he can teleport him to the emptiness of space.
And the reason why Thor had to depower him was because he didn't want to kill him. There's no reason why he couldn't just punch him instead.
Uni-power Spides seemed to have Hall's number with a simple energy blast, if Thor did that instead of using lightning again then that too would work.
hmmmmm?
Here Graviton instantly shunts from the Earth to the Sun in a split second.
Used the suns gravity to slingshot him back to the earth at near light speed.
Here Graviton is cruising through space on the compound he had in West Coast Avengers. He stole an atmosphere from another planet and reached a perfect combination of oxygen and nitrogen and other gases so he could survive.
Here Graviton opens up a wormhole to escape from another dimension.
Sending him to space or another dimension won’t work either. Also not entirely in character for Thor regardless
Concerning cosmic spider-man he took him by surprise. He had no idea he had the uni power and thought he was just regular version. Cosmic Sm blasted graviton and sent him flying. He was shocked after he got blasted but was fine and said maybe he should take on someone less formaible like galactus

And? Not like Thor did it on the fly or even during the fightTo repeat sending him to that dimension/dead space where his powers wouldn't work he first has to knock Graviton out or in that instance use a drug. So not entirely a viable tactic
At any rate the comic sort of collapses under its own logic. Instead of risking the death of Graviton, by physically attacking him, Thor would rather put him in a coma and leave him in the interdimensional void, which is sure to kill him.

Is it though? Because we have seen his lightening attacks fail multiple times against him and nor is that a typical attack for Thor so now we’re debating out of character. If we do that what’s to stop graviton from lobotizinig Thor? And yes graviton can do it
You are missing the point he tried to physically attack him before graviton told him of his folly for trying to ko him.... but at that point his hammer and Thor himself was quickly subdued. THEN Thor resorted with the trick. Even he admitted he was going to lose
