Given Spectre was mentioned as being necessary, and Thunderbolt [along with Dr. Fate, Zatanna + others] specifically could only depower 10% of all kryptonians combined, I think the implication is clear that he couldn't have. The kryptonians were
really hyped up - in that issue Alan Scott/WW and a slew of other heroes flat-out says that they know Superman is the most powerful being on the planet, and now it's 100,000 of him.
Do I think that it's a ridiculously high-end showing for the kryptonians? Yes. Do I think that Thunderbolt, a 5th D being should be able to warp the Universe with them out of existence? Yes.
But, leo, this is a thread where people are arguing that Odin one-shots 99% of them. Or that Thor's lightning would kill them all. Imagine this were reversed, and a cosmic cube/Mad Jim Jasper [insert any other ridiculous high end character], Dr. Strange [full power], Umar and a shitload of other would pool their power, and would only be able to depower Asgard/Odin/Loki/Thor by 10%. How do you think that would be portrayed by the the other side? What would you have me do? You can't be reasonable with the unreasonable. lol
