Toxic Fandoms? DCEU/MCU/Star Wars

Which fanbase is much more toxic or are all three the same...

I think Star Wars is the most toxic at the moment. TLJ put the fanbase into open civil war with Solo adding fuel to the fire and Lucasfilm firing back at fans.

Fans are now personally attacking the actors so much that Kelly Marie Tran deleted all of here social media.

Say what you want about the DCEU but at least people have been supportive of the actors themselves. Snyder for all the shit he got never fired back at the fans for their hate unlike Lucasfilm.

SW fans have been toxic since '83.

Now days almost all fandoms are toxic. Though few are quite as bad as SW.

Because that is excuse making by the people involved with Disney Star Wars. Doing nothing but feeling the hate. In addition many are claiming identity politics being shoved in their faces from these new films.

Many can't stand that. The backlash is very real.

Star wars, I think a big part of that is the disservice to some of the character's legacy. Yeah Batman v superman wasn't very good, but at least superman and Batman acted like superman and batman.

Star Wars. After that, in general neither MCU or DCEU are particularly toxic. On this board, MCU. It helps that I can't actually recall a fan of the DCEU on this board. Zack M I guess?

There is plenty of DC fans here. If the DCEU can turn it around they will come out of the woodwork.

The Star Wars fans just want Good Star Wars Movies. The Disney/Lucasfilms have kind of created its own Toxicness. Kind of like how the Marvel Comics People keep shitting on the Marvel Comics Fans.

I hated TLJ because it was shit, I like Rey. It's Ghostbusters 2016 all over again, I hated that cause it was shit not because it was a bunch of women. This is my one problem with female lead roles, if the movie ends up being shit immediately it's assumed because people hate female leads rather than admitting 'no the movie is actually bad.'
