can't be, there billions of galaxies in the universe. Each space sector is a lot bigger. Seen as the entire Corps patrols the entire universe (dividing it in 3600 equal units), and currently the OBSERVABLE universe is 46 billion years in radius each sector is like 30 million light years in DIAMETER. That covers quite a number of galaxies. Most galaxies are 3650 to 365 000 light years across and the inter-galactic space is about 50 000 light years on average which estimates to as few as 74 galaxies to as many as 500 per sector.Technically the universe may be infinite so this means each sector is 1 3600th of infinity which is still infinity.
Sounds reasonable to me.
Of course, the Corps doesn't cover the entire universe, either. There's forbidden sectors, areas where they don't have jurisdiction, and plain undiscovered areas (They had an name for that. Black sectors, maybe?)
But 3600 is still a small number for the bulk they do cover. And each sector would logically contain a lot of galaxies..
So a bunch of no names and Kilowog took on something that could eat the mother storm, and a thousand more like her.
