Snoke was never extremely popular. I am ok with that. My opinion stands on its own. Snoke and Kylo are both cooler than Sidious.

New trilogy will be by far the best when the dust settles.

I have mixed emotions about Palpatine coming back, on one hand, he's the best villain on the other, lets move on.

Do hope they touch on Snoke's backstory some more, the way they used him, he was a throwaway villain for Kylo's rise to power, little more than a stepping stone.

In time they will. Palpatine served the same purpose until the prequels. Mainly about Vader just as this trilogy focuses on Ren. Sidious might not be alive either or come back to life. Who knows but it is great for speculation.

Snoke is getting an upcoming one-shot comic, Maybe that it'll have some of his backstory.

Yeah, the "Palpatine was never explained in the OT" excuse was always absolute BS. Before the OT the setting was not established and when it was it was built around Sheev's Empire. Sheev, therefore, fit into the setting (an Empire needs an Emperor) and there was no need to explain it. By contrast, Snoke doesn't organically fit into an already established universe. Anyway, I expect they will give a throwaway line to explain him in this film. He is likely another apprentice or a disfigured clone.

^ Yeah big differences, plus if these films are so great why keep comparing to the OT to justify them? Theres a reason the OT plot/characters never needed justifying (except maybe the Death Stars weakness lol).

There had never been anyone calmer on the history of KMC!

He was barely on screen in two films and died. We knew next to nothing about him and only got a glimpse years later with the prequels. Notlike yiu dare shout Disney Star Wars anyways.

I am simply calling a spade a spade. These films are superior thus far to the Ots. You hate them and doubted the climax. I do not. I believe.

The ot fans are big time into Vader and Sidious. I never said Snoke was popular but I do love him and Maul to a lesser extent.
