I don't hate everything about SW. I love the OT and enjoy both the PT and the old EU. 🙂And resurrecting old characters, especially with absolutely no foreshadowing, is almost always awful writing.
Originally posted by Rebel95Exactly my point and we all know Sidious will lose again despite having the odds in his favor showing incompetence. Sidious will not be up against a juggernaut making it all the more embarrassing to his legacy. This show the rebels winning was not a fluke because without Anakin this guy cannot close a deal.
Yeah but he didn’t... because he’s dead. Lol

Ironic coming from a pretend fan whose made his hate and jealousy for Star Wars clear cut.

Seems people are assuming Palpatine's return was done on the 11th hour for reasons, but do we know for sure this wasn't always the intention? Any confirmation either way?Cos Snoke being a throwaway villain can lead credence to Palp's return being there all along for the sequel trilogy.
KK has actually stated that it was always the plan. But that seems to be a pretty blatant lie and is merely PR speak IMO. If it was always the plan then, if the writers were even halfway competent, they should have alluded and hinted at his return in the first two films. Furthermore, there would be no need for Snoke; especially since he is little more then Sheev 2.0. And finally, several people have stated that there was no plan for the trilogy. In fact, Rian claimed he was given free reign to do whatever he wanted with TLJ since there was no plan.

Nope. I enjoyed Dark Empire but I've always believed that bringing back Palpatine was a dumb decision that undermines the series.

Snoke is not Sheev nor did he have the same modus operandi. Rian Johnson clearly told his own story separate from where Abrams took it but all is not lost. Star Wars has a history of killing off villains prematurely with Maul they later retconned. I think bringing back Sheev does it make more interesting since we will bring back an original character to loom over the new ones. Selfishly I will attack Sidious when he fails again to the Nt characters.
One thing they need going forward is some kind of clear vision like the MCU has. They will learn from this. Abrams is a great director and I believe he will bring down the house closing off the Skywalker saga.
Originally posted by ares834So before seeing it and because it fits outside your perception you do not even count it. As I said you already decided not to enjoy it but at least you can still rewatch the originals. Abrams gave us the greatest lightsaber of all time, two of my top five favorite characters, and will conclude the Skywalker saga.
I haven't judged this film yet. I have little faith, but who knows, I may end up enjoying it especially since I no longer consider this to be a "true" continuation of the films but rather glorified fan faction.

Just to undermine his point, guy who did not know Ian was Sheev.
You do know I don’t follow the lives of actors right? Ever since ROTS, what films has he been in? It’s really logical to think he was dead.
Me asking is it the same actor is also logical, because guess what Disney did with Tarkin in Rogue One? They made a CGI version of the great late Peter Crushing you small minded insect.

No, it really isn't. You've gone full retard.
Says the retard. Sorry if I don’t waste my time checking if an actors alive or dead.
With all your shits, you completely by pass the fact that Disney just a few years used a cgi for Tarkin. A character played by Peter Crushing that died in the 90’s.
