After playing the beta, I'm feeling really put off by this game the fact your team of 3 has to share one stinking health bar together. This results in super short matches. It's really disappointing.

Anybody ever tried playing this in 2020/21? There been any improvements? I notice it still being supported with Yoruichi arriving soon as DLC.

I picked it up on a sale.

The only real mileage I got out of it was in attempting to max level my characters. There are like, side missions which are just overly difficult fights and that's where I had the most fun. Dont think I ever really completed the story.

Still a gorgeous game though.

Is this game actually worth getting or skip it?

Not for full price. If you're a big jump fan it's definitely worth playing and dicking around a bit. If you've only a passing familiarity with Jump's characters and history youre mileage will be kinda slight.

The story itself is not very engrossing, and not much actual voiceover. There are however ramping difficulty type matches that can be fun to work on and levelling up your team.
