She-Ra Vs Angela

Does the "future vision" of She-Ra killing He-Man count?

He was told it wasn't imaginary, just a road he was walking down..

When did she kill He-Man?

In the same Masters of the Universe series where he killed Superman.

Only, after an upgrade, and in a vision of what would happen if he refused to ever revert to Adam.

The answer was, become a military dictator, and force She-Ra to put him down, fulfilling the purpose the Sword of Protection was forged.

😕

She-ra?

Wow.

I've heard scarcely anything about the character since I was a little kid watching reruns of the cartoon.

There's been a number of teases and plans for Adora announced over the decades, but nothing concrete ever seems to have come from it.

Is there finally a new She-ra comic or cartoon series after 30 years?

Know I stumbled across something where they told a story of Adora leaving Horde, but that version of her was just about as special as the Kara in the Aliens crossover comic.

Where does your image above come from?

She was a supporting character in the last Masters of the Universe series.

Didn't really appear much, but she got to fight an amped Hordak, do a few other key things, and her backstory specifically states the Sword of Protection exists to keep the Sword of Power in check, in case it needs to be reigned in/taken down.

Whether that means it's more powerful, or has some specitic anti "Sword of Power" properties isn't specified.

So no concrete solid feats for She-Ra? I'm going with Angela for the win.

Do you have the Hordak scans?

You bet.

More coming.

First, some backstory:

Hordak was dead before this. He was resurrected, and then entered the Forge of Grayskull:

This same forge turns Skeletor into a god, with a capital G. Warps planets and people, kills that stupid planet from Space He-Man with a thought, at a point in the far future from him.

More to come..

Think I'll post this first:

I did some research since my last visit here a day or so ago.

I thank you for letting me know there HAVE been actual appearances in-comic since the 1980s for She-ra where She-ra actually does stuff AS She-ra, and not simply as Adora, non-powered former captain of the evil Horde.

They were NOT easy to find, and, unfortunately, you were mistaken when you gave the specific "book-hunter's" info. It was only your insistence that an encounter with She-ra in her actual She-ra form occurred that kept me from giving up.

In point of fact, possible future She-ra kills possible future He-Man in a separate series that FOLLOWS the series where He-Man takes down Superman.

The series where He-Man took down Superman, and summarily Dark Orko and Skeletor, is actually referenced by Skeletor himself, when Skeletor happens upon She-Ra after her near-fatal encounter with a newly, unexpectedly super-empowered Hordak. Though Skeletor or his minions could easily finish She-Ra off, or perhaps even simply allow She-Ra to die in her weakened state, Skeletor instead gives She-Ra a 2nd chance at life, by following her instructions ...

Yep. 🙂

I just found out myself, today, that it was Eternity War.

Of course, then Skeletor betrays her. I'm not entirely sure why he even needed her... He brought her to the "Well of Souls", made a bargain with them for revenge on Hordak, and shoved her inside so the Souls she killed could take their revenge.

So maybe she needed her for those few holdouts that could care less about Hordak, and would prevent him from leaving with the others?

Unfortunately, except for sword fights against powerful others, the writers of this series don't seem inclined to show She-Ra's prowess in any significant way.

This seems especially strange when considering the character before now was primarily known for feats of strength, and, in fact, often performed such feats as an alternate to sword violence (at least when dealing with nonrobotic opponents -- she wasn't too sparing of purely mechanical foes).

The following is the only thing I've found of note as far as She-Ra's physicality goes. On the other hand, we're provided yet another glimpse of how powerful the SWORD She-Ra wields may be:

If you've seen the fight with Hordak with The Power, you'll see how merely trading a few blows and surviving is a tremendous feat.

As Hordak literally cuts down a small army with a single swing.

Let's get to it.

Hordak forged his own "Dark Power Sword", and has the "Power of Grayskull".

I don't about you, but I think holding out as long as she did was pretty damned impressive.

Hordak had the FULL power of Grayskull. He had to be the same level as He Man, when he forged his golden armor and took on Cosmic Skeletor (Remember how Orko affected the entire DCU? That was power stolen from Hordak. Grayskulls fires of eternity, which is separate from He Mans power, and which everyone coveted, has to be even more powerful.)

Beastly.
