Thread ender Vs Thread ender
Responses (theoretically) guaranteed to end a thread before its even begun.
Top contenders:

Speed steal - powerful, but not always unstoppable.
Bubble to the brain - also powerful, but even weaker than speedsteal (eg Black Adam had Dr Morrow tesseract a space in his brain the size of a football field!!! All it did was KO him for a while).
Pillar of salt - Salt is POWERFUL LOL
Sleep pellets - depends on whose launching them. If it is Batman, then even TOAA is at risk ...
Door - See sleep pellets, but substitute Midnighter for Batman
Spite - this is a hard one. Reason being that it is used by (i) people who know what they’re taking about, and (ii) people who are either trolls or totally uninformed. Examples of the latter are many ...take any thread with Thanos or Hulk for example ...
Erase from reality - very powerful, but can be defeated by speed blitz.
Speed blitz - very powerful, but can be defeated by erase from reality.
TP - used to be used VERY often on KMC five or so years ago, but nowadays TP battles are very rare on the forum.
The most powerful though is the following:
-> Any thread that is DC versus Marvel. It will (inevitably) have:
(A) the SAME four people come and say Marvel stomps (including two who have never said DC wins in anything ...you could put Superman vs Colossus, and those two characters would say ‘Colossus stomps’ and, as always, with zero explanation why their fevered minds arrived at that conclusion), and
(B) another two people who will similarly come out and say DC wins (no matter what, DC wins ...particularly certain caped characters).
That is the most powerful force on KMC because it (i) quickly destroys any logical debate on that thread and (ii) it’s often a waste of time trying to convince the four pro-Marvel/anti-DC and two pro-DC/anti-Marvel posters.

In terms of effectiveness, Speed blitz beat them all, since it, followed closely by time stop.
They're basically the same thing.
As far as actually stopping threads.... No one really accepts speed stomps anymore. Threads more likely to be extended by them.
I'd say at the moment, the top ender of threads is Midnighters computer brain, followed by Door. Often deployed as an "I win" button, and not as widely argued against, or outright ignored, compared to the rest.

speed steal is effectively impossible to argue against unless you go through pure speculation--and even that is difficult to make sound reasonable. fortunately it comes up rarely enough. most know by now flash is haxx in a forum setting and generally makes for sh!tty debates.
most matter maniup (and i'd include brain bubble) can be countered in some way, though it can be tough and depends on the character. spite is spite. bad threads are bad threads. we can say things like "for the sake of discussion" or try neutering someone. even making claims to comics (as funny as it sounds) doesn't help because in some ways the forum is anathema to what goes on in comics, where pis and narrative take precedence.
bfr is awful and boring and incontestable if not eliminated in some match ups and tp is incontestable as well depending on match ups. those all go back to the same thing--terrible match ups. generally all these endings can be avoided if a match up is well considered.
