We sometimes get summer storms here. Flooding is an issue. And it can get quite hot at times. I always hear about people dying here of heat stroke. Mostly old people.

May was abnormally warm, but it's business as usual otherwise(bit dry though).

Friend of mine just joined the airforce and had to go to Texas for basic training for the next two months. I assume he's just a smoldering skeleton by now.

Yeah but it is also fun when Texans or any other Southern Types move out of their Temperate Zone during the winter months. Fun to laugh at them and call them cold weather wimps.

I'm living in the wrong region I think, I love the cold. I visited Boston last year during the winter, it was like in the 20's and I was walking around in shorts and a light sweater, felt great.

To bad all the nice places to live climate wise have been ruined by making it to expensive to live there.

It’s 9pm, and the sun is still there. Doesn’t get dark till 10 pm.

It’s 22:20pm here and it’s still not dark. In fact, there’s blue in the sky until about 0:30am.
