Yes, but he also hated the changes they made to his script. And after Roddenberry died he wrote a book or something about the original screenplay.

But he truly hated the fact that Roddenberry would always act like the ep was a clear portrayal of Harlan's vision.

Talented, bad tempered, vindictive and a sex pest.

He indeed was great at being an a-hole.

Only know him of the the story 'I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream' which was turned into a game.
