What is being said is:

-democrats whine the kids and parents are detained separately
-democrats then whine like weasels that they will be detained together
-democrats obviously don't want them deported
-this is effectively saying if you can get a hold of a child our borders are open to you

If you can't separate parent from child, and you can't detain a child in jail, what's left? Put everyone up in a hotel?

And while they argue for open borders for anyone who can get their hands on a kid(like the mother who kidnapped her daughter that retarded leftists then put on the cover of Time magazine) they also argue for abolishing ICE lol.

Which just won't be happening, but they won't accept that.

Catch and release needs to go as well. But leftists don't want that.

I just wish they'd flat out admit what they truly want. They do want open borders. Their presidential nominee for 2016 called for them.

They want everyone who wants to come here to be allowed to do so. The other day this immigration rights specialist was even arguing illegals that get caught driving drunk shouldn't be deported.

How is it a false narrative when the person they nominated for president called for open borders?

How is it false when...after being given what they want and Trump saying they won't split up families...they whined like little b*tches about them being detained?

You can start by naming the candidate since I can think of none.

Because not detaining families, asylum seekers and the like indefinitely at the border does not mean open borders. Like I said, even a policy of “catch and release” does not mean open borders.

A catch and release policy is just as bad as having an open border. It tells illegals that come here "hey you can get away with it". And now some dems actually have the audacity to whine about the term "catch and release".

This entire situation reminds me of guns. Democrats say they do not wanna take away guns, but their own words later on end up betraying them. They do this more and more and people are getting wise to it.

Maybe that’s because those immigrants still face court proceedings and the threat of deportation. Nor does it apply to everyone, just those deemed not a risk. In other words: not open borders.
