These are two separate scenarios right? If so, Bishop hands bane his own ass in the first fight and potentially wins the second if he's allowed to absorb energy.

Bishop, handily.

you'd need to disallow absorption in the second to give bane a chance in either. bane can take a lot of punishment though so maybe not easy, or at least various levels of difficulty.

has bishop shown to be able to absorb and survive edged weapons though? i'm sure i've seen it, but been a while if i have...

^^^Not sure if Bishop’s durability, he’s one if those all iver the place characters.
He just got taken out by a lamp, i believe, to the back of the head, in a recent comic.

This is what I've been saying for some time.

It fuels him but he is still injured by physical force.

Bane looked better after having 100 bricks thrown in his face than Bishop did after one hit.

Part of it was because his mask hid some damage, but yeah.

Plus, it was 500 bricks, and Junior had super strength iirc.

Not saying he wins mind you, just that one low showing is hardly the standard.

I'd give Bishop the first fight.

I got Bane with a slight edge for the second.

still not sure if he can simply be stabbed to death. /shrug
