Thing vs. Luke Cage

Rematch who wins?

The way Cage's written... I don't think any white brick can challenge him, tbh.

Thing will show a lot of heart and but them be brought to near death by a greazy Harlem uppercut.

Luke walks away mostly unscathed.

Didn't Luke already two shot KO Thing?

If you mean by Bendis, then both "fights" had some serious context.

Classic, I thought it was mostly a stalemate?

Do you have the scans? What was the context behind those fights?

Hence why I believe he'd beat Thing after a good fight nowadays.

Not on hand, but both happened in TNA.

#1 Cage grew giant and was possessed by a demon

#2 Brother Voodoo's ghost brother was jumping from body to body and attacking Avengers, iirc

Meh. Grimm became stronger with time, too.

I see.

True, but I just hate Thing with a passion 😄

And I completely understand that.

Just saying that Cage hasn't had a definite win over the Thing. Their classic scuffle is the only thing which we even can count as a "fight".

Stilt, look what I found. In one of their classic fights, when Luke was being controlled by Puppet Master and forced to fight Thing, Thing wasn't at full power. In fact, he was just a human in the "Thing suit" Reed made him :

How powerful was the suit?

"Close to Power Man level" LOL.

Trying to find the context behind this fight :

I've changed my mind though. Now that I've looked into it more, Thing wins after a decent fight.

👆

Thing should win. But in a comic? Hell, Luke would probably eat him alive or some shit. All while yelling about the white privilege.

Luke was able to damage Depowered Juggernaut (who was still easily herald level in strength) and he held back the jaws of that skyscraper sized turtle kaiju.

A weaker Cage one-shotted Iron Clad. He also beat Colossus. He did better against an in-water Namor than Thing did, who Namor practically one-shotted in the same fight.

Luke definitely wins. Thing is basically written to lose to other people to make them look tough. He is a jobber to the stars in wrestling terms.

I remember Iron Clad, but when did Colossus happen? And what fight are you talking about in the water w Namor?

The fact that he's white orange makes it worse.

The thing would slap him silly.
