Wasn’t Sidious stronger in the force but Yoda was th3 better swordsman

no cramped environment sees Sidious win this; the only reason Yoda was able to disarm Sidious is because they were fighting in the Chancellors pod

Palpatine, it was Anakins destiny to kill Palpatine, implying Palpatine is too powerful for any mortal swayed from the destiny of the Force to defeat. That's what was up with the poetic prose of the ROTS Novelization.
