Kind of messed up how if Crisis had been one season later, they could have used it as an excuse to recast her with a perfectly valid in-universe explanation.

Easy fix, make next seasons cross over Infinite crisis, another Batwoman could have been in the pocket universe instead of Kal-l. Have Batwoman be the series that starts its next season in the cross over instead of legends.

And in the next Crisis they can cross over with the MCU to explain how Bruce Banner went from Ed Norton to Mark Ruffalo.

And how War Machine ended up founding a record Empire.

Stephanie Beatriz is hot but she occasionally reminds me of the Brazilian footballer Roberto Firmino. I wouldn't worry about her leaving Brooklyn 9-9 though, that show probably only has a season left in it.

This is gonna be so convoluted just randomly writing out Kate Kane and replacing her with a completely new Batwoman, and presumably new supporting characters.

Yeah, I can’t wait. It’s like having future knowledge of a train wreck, no actual way to stop it, so you may as well watch.

The show isn't as preachy as say Supergirl is, the only slightly good/interesting thing about the show is Alice.

I stopped watching the show just after Crisis so I don't know if she's still alive but couldn't they kill off Kate Kane and have Alice (her twin sister) become the new Batwoman? I know that's wacky and would take some creative writing but so does writing any show/movie and they'd be able to keep the supporting cast in place. Failing that they could cast Frankie Muniz and just never say anything about it.

I love how low-key racist the description of her is. She's got no father and is involved with drugs? Yeah, that's not a stereotype at all. Also, have you guys heard that she's a lesbian?

lol @ her being undisciplined but somehow also an amazing fighter. I'm guessing none of the people working on this ever had to learn to be good at anything.

Not finished S1 yet either but I actually liked the characters in this but they will presumably mostly be changed.

And will this new one also be best buddies with Supergirl because...you know... Worlds Finest. Whole thing is just stupid.

Yeah I’m still in the “just recast the character and move on, why make shit complicated when you don’t have to” camp.

they won't watch though.. the cw has effectively destroyed what little canon they were tying to establish in the first season.. they should've just had julia take over as batwoman but that's way too easy for them to do that
