An interesting read. I think this is pretty obvious to almost everyone at this point, but the sheer amount of resources put into this by nation states is shocking.

This shit was pioneered by China and Russia. It’s hardly surprising that governments are doing this, especially the non-democratic ones; what’s surprising is that it took them so long to get on board.

I did a thread on this a whole back. It's crazy stuff.
