What are your thoughts on this anime? Are they positive or negative?

It's one of the best of all time.

End of Evangelion. When I rewatch the series I still watch the final two episodes because they do provide a lot of insight in the characters and the dynamics between them, EoE does all that, ties up most or all of the loose ends the series set up, had a (relative to episodes 25 and 26) coherent plot to serve as a foundation for the interplay between the characters, and had one of my favorite fight sequences in anime.

Asuka vs the MP EVAs is probably my favorite action sequence in anime.

Yea, I definitely agree as EOE is my favorite film period.

I don't know if I'd peg it as my favorite film period, but it is likely my favorite anime film (only really rivaled by the Madoka movie) and is a very strong contender for my favorite movie.

What do you crazy kids think of the Rebuilds?

I've yet to see them waiting for 3.0+1.0.
