Thanos was penetrated by Stormbreaker in Wakanda despite having the completed gauntlet. Having none of the Infinity Stones makes this an even easier stomp.

That’s due to his attention not being on Thor and just acquiring the stones. With his focus on Thor he destroys him. With the Hulk around this is just perilous for Thor.
