Gorr vs Larfleeze

He wasn't defeated by celestials. He was defeated by a random god on the home planet of Gorr.

There was a connection BTW. They are the same weapon. Knull later tempered the All Black in Celestial fire as shown on panel.

He's not weak to Thor's lightning, I think it's more the fact that Thor's lightning surprised him and temporarily shortcircuited his control of all those symbiotes.

At any rate I'd still take Larfleeze over Gorr.

Correct. Thor's lightning cut Knull's connection to the symbiote race, and in his weakened state they jailed him.

Why wouldn't Gorr be able to do everything that you mentioned? I mean what proof do you have? Gorr was blasted a light year away into a planet without showing any signs of injury when he took a shot from All Father Thor. AF Thor was superior to Odin with the Odin Force according to on panel citation.

Because he isn't that powerful?

OKT wasn't superior to Odin, he was without his power for hundreds of years.

But didn't he say that he was more powerful than Odin on panel to his younger self? I thought that I read him say that.

Not that I know of.

The first weapon he ever created, the proto-symbiote, WAS the Necrosword in it's infant form. It became All-Black after being forged in the Celestial's head and killing pantheons:

It literally transitions from him whipping the weapon one, killing the Celestial (It even highlights that as he is banished by the First Host, he is grasping his first sword), and forging the All-Black.

Why do you gotta lie for NO reason? It's so odd.

Like, am I being unnecessarily mean guys? I want some opinions. Reading that set of scans, where he repeatedly calls the All-Black his first weapon, his first-born etc. do you not thing Abhiligend is operating in bad faith?

No, he's a Jack ass. But this isn't new, best to ignore it really.

Larfleeze has too many "low" feats.

He should win but I cant forget about all the low feats he picked up by sticking around Hal and the Co

I'm not too sure about the low feats, but he had a lot of high ones in his solo series. He took on several trans to skyfather level opponents at the same time. And they ended up destroying their own universe, before they fought Lar.

The early awesome OP Larf is as much gone as the early awesome Atrocitus.

Wut? Why would you leave the scan which is actually important?

The previous blade was destroyed so he pulled a sword again from his shadow and created the necrosword.

I know you're just a liar but this is embarrassing.

Postimages glitch (Hence the comic link). Here is the full sequence again. Read it, CAREFULLY:

LOOK at the pictures. The sword was never destroyed. We see that the blade survived his banishment in his hand as he falls. And when the picture fades to black, he is forging the All-Black from that same sword.

The biggest irony? This actually HURTS your argument in this thread. Following your narrative, Gorr would one-shot kill Larfleeze using power scaling.

A being who could casually whip out a weapon that could one-shot kill Celestial, imagine how much more powerful would a weapon he actually put blood and tears into be? Magnitudes superior.

Unfortunately, I'm not a deceitful little shit like you are, so I have to take a stance that makes Gorr's weapon less impressive, but your dumbass thinks "Indirect Thor feat", and your little brain starts spinning like a hamster in it's ball trying to find a way to invalidate it. Ironically, taking a stance that there is:

There was no connection given with the earlier weapon and necrosword.

Smh.

New's flash dumbass: The connection is that if he can one-shot kill a Celestial with a casual construct, a weapon he forged that he put so much power into, he was near helpless for centuries, would be noticeably more powerful.

Your stance also completely ignores the narrative. Why go through ALL that trouble, harp on it being the first-blade, the first-symbiote, his first-creation etc. if it WAS NOT his actual FIRST creation etc? I just don't get it. It's so completely unnecessary.

Hey dumbass, what is that in the third panel?

Now you have conceded the whole argument. Power scaling, huh?

A being who could casually whip out a weapon that could one-shot kill Celestial, imagine how much more powerful would a weapon he actually put blood and tears into be? Magnitudes superior.

Except it did not. He was defeated by a random god when he had necrosword.

Necrosword couldn't even kill normal Thor in one hit when Gorr actually tried. Forget about killing celestials.

So now you have conceded that the necrosword is the sword which killed celestials and are just going by speculation? Good to know.

Your stance also completely ignores the narrative. Why go through ALL that trouble, harp on it being the first-blade, the first-symbiote, his first-creation etc. if it WAS NOT his actual FIRST creation etc? I just don't get it. It's so completely unnecessary.

Because the first sword was created by the void of creation. Necrosword wasn't.

How are you so dumb? It must be a special gift.

A fade to black....is the sword being destroyed?

What evidence do you happen to have that the between the second panel and the fourth panel:

- The original weapon was destroyed. AND
- He pulled out an exact replica of the first sword which he calls his first creation..

How...how do you just stuff up out of thin air like that?

Considering that Knull specifies that the Necrosword is made from his own "shape" (as opposed to his body), and that he appeared to pull it from his shadow, which is his shape in darkness reflected by the light.

I can't really see the sword he used to slay the Celestial being argue to be anything but the Necrosword tbh.

I meant fourth panel.

Because the shadow sword is literally destroyed in the fourth panel and Knull brought a new sword from his being.

Why would he bring a new sword from his being.

How...how do you just stuff up out of thin air like that?

That's just what the comic showed dumbass.

The first sword was pulled from the abyss. Second sword or necrosword was pulled from his own shape.

Both are made distinct.
