Rogue with Carol's powers is way too fast for Blob. She could also just bfr.

lol your fetish with Blob notwithstanding, Rogue knows more about how Blob's power work than Colossus. She was on the same team as the Blob in the Brotherhood, and of course all the many times the X-men teams have fought against Blob's teams.
There is absolutely no reason why she wouldn't do the same thing as Colossus, except much quicker b/c she is so much faster. Plus she has other options like choking him similar to what the Wrecker with his crowbar did, except she doesn't stop until he passes out.
The only was for Rogue to lose this is to forget all her previous history with the Blob, not use her speed advantage, and just keep punching him in the gut until he gets a couple of clean good shots in.

It doesn't make him lighter. Some writers have Blob close to helpless if he's not anchored on the ground completely ignoring how Blob's powers work. He controls his density (like Vision), being in touch with the ground doesn't matter.
