English Premier League

Yeah that decision in the Sheff Utd/Villa game was silly. That has nothing to do with VAR though that should have been covered by goal-line technology and that was introduced a few years ago now, no reason for it not to work.

Chelsea seem like the only team that are capable of getting near Liverpool or City at the minute, they need to improve defensively though IMO. Will be a strange and interesting transfer window this next one I feel.

LIVERPOOL w00t

Weirdest season ever?

Yup.

Chelsea to win FA cup! I know it's a diff comp but goddamnit I think they will.

I'm still crossing my fingers that United might pull it off.

Congratulations on the win, might have taken 30 years but it was worth the wait. It sucks that it had to happen in a time where it isn't safe to go out.

After today's result hopefully this isn't the beginning of another 30 year wait.

Sky Sports would love it, Man.United taking 3rd and an FA cup trophy this season so they can build next season as a clash of titans with the 2 old rivals Liverpool and Manchester United battling it out for that trophy.

Well they have already secured Werner for 50 million pounds and the season hasn't even ended yet.

Oh the perks of being a super rich club in London, the world is your oyster.

It also has to do with the transfer embargo, Chelsea aren't feeling the financial restrictions that almost every other team is in the wake of Covid, couple that with the Hazard sale and Chelsea are in a better position than most, that result against West Ham should indicate where they will need to improve next season.

An awful result to be sure but I'm not reading too much into it, City had something to prove and the Liverpool players could feel relaxed on the pitch, for the first time in a couple of seasons probably after the high intensity they have been playing with.

put an RIP Jack Charlton thread in the GDF because he deserves it!

Leicester really bottled that...oh well, Europa league here we come. Hopefully Chelsea will be willing to spend north of 80 million for Chilwell, this will help with filling up the gaps in the attack. Also hopefully we can acquire Dean Henderson from Man.Utd plus some cash for Kasper Schmeichel.

I didn't realize how childish soccer players can be, do they really have to make a rule where if you deliberately cough on another player/ref you could get a red card... 🤪

The more time passes, the less I feel like OGS is to blame for United's failings. You can say that he couldn't man-manage Pogba, and that's fine, but it's become obvious to me that this is just the same thing that happened under Mourinho and even a bit under LVG. Players they want just aren't being seriously pursued, because the men that run United's money side of things would rather pay the Glazer's loans than actually compete in the transfer market.

Sure, buying Fernandes was a really good step, but they desperately need more.

Great start by Leicester, hopefully they learned enough from last season and won't fall asleep at the wheel.

As long as Vardy is healthy they have a chance 😆 😆
