Buffy Reboot and she is going to be Black

Didn't watch the first series. Won't be watching this series.

Will that make her a more interesting character?

Does this meant hat there is a horror movie cliche of the young black girl getting stalked and killed by the monster?

Joss Whedon did say that his reason for creating Buffy as she was (young blonde girl), was to subvert the horror movie expectations about such characters.

Anyway, too old now to really bother with Buffy, I preferred Angel (and particularly Fred/Ilyria) much more towards the final seasons of both shows.

Won't be watching this reboot, not that I mind her being black, but I do dislike the politics of race that are so often and bludgeoningly played by The Left.

Make her black and in a hot lesbo relationship with Willow and we can talk.

Make Willow straight and let black Buffy be gay. Might as well swap around the identity badges.
