I just finished the first season of demon slayer. Really wish the show didn't peak at episode 19. Made the rest of the season feel like a let down

Inuyasha.

Still as good as it was back then.

Good series, the sequel is okay so far, my only nitpick is that they have 3 female leads. If Towa was a male character and brother of Setsuna, that would be interesting, especially later, if they meet up with Koga wolf demon and his kids interaction.

Almost done with 3rd season of AOT and also picked up Jujutsu Kaisen. I can see why this new series was hype by the community, because its well deserved. The cast reminds of Naruto team 7, or maybe its a common shonen trope?

Is "Garo: The Animation" any good?

The Ys anime based off the games is really ****ing good apparently?

Really liking it so far, great music is expected but it's a very faithful adaption.

Nvm, the dialogue is kind of bland, fight scenes are cool though.

My Hero Academia!

Vampire Hunter D (1985 OVA)

English Dub:

Gangsta

The Way Of The Househusband

His and Her Circumstances

The Story Of Cinderella

Lady Snowblood.

The inspiration for Kill Bill. About a beautiful woman easily mistaken for a sex worker or entertainer who is a first rate assassin.

Standard nudity mixed with gore. Actually quite good, you can find its influence in anime like Samurai Champloo.

My Hero Academia.

You know, thinking about it, All Might should have gotten Midoriya's permission from the start. Or at least informed her of his personal interest.

I mean, it's a universe built off acceptance of super powers. Just because his quirk happens to be a little bit different doesn't mean you abandon all social norms. She has a right to know.

Uh spoiler on that C.

Dropped: Cinderella Monogatari.

Painful watch. Well written. It ain't.

I just finished Samurai Champloo for the third time.

I'm on Hellsing now.

Bakugou is the real protagonist of My Hero Academia.

Think about it, both Deku and Todoroki have legacy characters backing them. And the two best in the world at that.

While Bakugou is completely on his own. He's abrasive as heck, but he gets the job done, constantly improves himself, and strives for excellence in everything he does.

The kids an inspiration.

So Shoto Todoroki looks to essentially be Zuko?

And Endeaver is a nicer, more gentle Ozai?

You think Hulk would be an All Might fan?

Seeing he's a Smash connoisseur.

ACCA-13

This one is more for older viewers.

It doesn't have action, it's not a shounen, it's not a comedy, it's not a fantasy or a game or a romance or a slice of life.

Every main and supporting character is an official or a government worker or some one who works and spends most of the time, most days working.

There are no armies or soldiers here. (Does any one even have an army in this world).

There are managers, supervisors, officials, police foot patrol officers, inspectors, people who represent and govern districts, etc.

If you find yourself stuck/confused do not go into episode discussion forums.

You'll be told things which the writers and the director planned to show you in the very next episode. Since all the episodes are out. You don't have the problem the people at the time did of having to wait a week for a big clue or a reveal (when there is a reveal).

To give the show it's full title

ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.

The Eng Dub is great.

Trigun manga.

Man, it is hard to follow. Half the time you're not sure what's happening, because of the art style.

Sailor Moon (Viz Dub).

And another show where I'm about halfway through and thinking of dropping. The Main Male Lead is such a _ _ _ _. A main character where 50% of the dialogue is disparaging the female co-lead. Follows orders without thinking. When the organisation he works for is clearly awful. Is an annoying main character to follow. I can see how there is maybe a growing awakening in the character and a likely plot twist / reveal maybe in the future. But the try-hard character writing and character design and animation of the main character is a pain.

A character who is deadpan and completely unassuming can work in a show like Golgo 13 or Gangsta.

Economy of words, Economy of motion, Expressionless characters work. But not when you try to write a character as both Expressionless and Try-hard and Edgy and a Jerk.

It's genuinely sad to see a great writer undo his creation by trying too hard.
