Isn't Winter Solider just employed by the winter and just a solid form of "winter" which kind of leaves it open as to his density?
Iceman however is made of a known substance which is what Winter Solider is implied to be. Plus he can make it winter all over the place, and again, we know Solider needs winter to thrive, but he's not a master of it. He's empowered by something Iceman has complete control over.
It'd be like putting Superman against Sun God.
This seems like a rare Wonder Man mismatch.
I don't know about winter powers. However Winter Solider did withstand a blow from the Sentry.
As they programed him to surpass D.N.A. though that he may have a more special ability against Mutants because up to now no one could effect a mutants d.n.a. permanently.
He might well be the one to take down Iceman.
