HD Image of Darth Maul from Solo (Not Fan-Made)

From the recent issue of Insider...

The legs just look ridiculous for me, and Ray looks so bloated in the cheeks, lmfao.

The saber and the tattoos are fine, but Ray looks like he's been... eating quite a bit and the legs are awful.

Yeah, not sure why they opted to give his legs a more clunky, robotic look in the film, as opposed to the sleek, humanoid design his legs had in TCW/Rebels?

Maybe so casual fans(ie. those who had never seen TCW or Rebels and didn't know Maul even survived TPM) would know beyond the shadow of a doubt that his legs in Solo were indeed robotic..?

Possibly, although the legs from TCW are still clearly robotic.
Oh well. We're used to Disney making rather questionable decisions.

Regarding Maul's robotic legs in Solo...

"With the legs, through the research we did, he'd been through two or three different pairs since losing his lower half. When he showed up in Clone Wars, he gets fixed up with a big pair of spider legs first, then after that he gets these sort of backwards-facing chicken legs, then normal straight legs. So we thought, 'We've got the liberty to design his legs, because they're not canon and set in stone at this time.' Again, we did a lot of different leg designs, and maybe made him a bit taller or tried to bring character to his leg designs, I suppose."

Maul losing to more Padawans, truly fitting.

They should focus on making prequels, not sequels - if their interest is truly to follow Lucas' vision.

There were those early drawings of Maul vs Vos, but I believe that was a different story arc, and besides Vos is supposed to be on Boz Pity.

From what we’ve seen in Dark Disciple he’d stomp Maul lol

Imagine if Dark Disciple made it on screen. Vos would be the next Galen in how people see him.

^ Have to remember though, it was Dark Side Vos who overpowered Dooku. Dooku still beat Ventress and Lightside Vos together earlier.

However after the end of DD when Vos is a Jedi again, im guessing he would be better than before but not at his dark side peak. So probably around Maul level tbh.

Depends where you put Maul. Who himself isn’t always consistent.

Lmao, this shouldn’t even be a discussion. Maul would wipe the floor with Vos, dark-side or not. Dark Disciple is an exception to the rule, that being; Vos is trash to anyone Kenobi+ level.
