What Danny did wasn't any different. Only he avoided a single attack, whereas Storm had to evade many.

SG only knocked Logan down, nothing more. She underestimated him and that - technically - cost her the victory, as she got armbar'd and needed to summon her squirrels. Broke the rules of the sparring, while Logan played fair.

You know, Danny can just chi amp his body.

I mean, Luke Cage couldn't even knock him out with a sucker punch to the back of the head. And he's survived nukes and free falling at plane heights.

Point is, he's pretty durable when amped.

No sir, there's a difference between random PIS and a plot driven, narrative feat.

At the time, Danny was in his red "beserk" mode, channeling way too much chi at the time. Black Dragon somehow caused the condition. Cage even commented on how amped he was.

I mean, this is Priest, he usually at least has a good explanation for most of his PiS.

Now Storm beating down Logan, otoh...

Logan kicked the crap out of her before that and spent more time training her than others.

Ororo is a surprisingly competent combatant, especially by X-Men standards. See her fights with Cyclops, Crimson Commando, Ursa Major, Black Panther, Forge's mutant hybrid thing and more.

She's even done well in a sparring against Thunderstrike on the beginning of her career, despite Proudstar's superhuman stats. She lost, but still. Back then she was only trained as a thief.
