Maul got some really bad showings in Rebels. He was straight up goofy.

Maul trips onto his own lightsaber, then falls off a cliff.

Filoni revives him again a decade later to fight alongside Rey and Kylo in Disney's adaptation of the Yuuzhan Vong War.

Maul is only clumsy when fighting a Filoni favourite character.

Since Filoni doesnt care for Kota, Maul stomps.
