GL Ring Vs Cap Shield

...can a GL ring destroy Captain America’s shield?

Trying to be clear as possible so as not to waste anyone’s time. Wondering if the ring has the raw power to break the shield, w.out esoteric tricks.

In theory it should with it being a device of "will power". If you can imagine it you can achieve it...yea or nay?.

I was never impressed with the GL Corps and their stupid rings.

I say it can't do shit to Steve's shield.
