The thing you guys have to understand about ILS and JKB is the posts they made that got them perma banned were really bad... and it wasn't the first time they had each been banned for racist trolling and such. To top it off, they've both made multiple sock accounts since which has irritated the other mods even more.
They were both solid dudes in the SW forums, but getting them unbanned(which *only* Raz can do) would be a very hard sell, to say the least... it's a shame, but Kurk would realistically have a better chance getting unbanned than they would.
Is a sock really a sock if the person creating the new account has fundamentally changed, and become a "new" person? Speaking in philosophical terms, the Kurk that was previously banned may not accurately represent the newly reformed Kurk that seeks to make contributions to the community months later. Due to the fact external pressures are constantly acting on us, changing us whether we are conscious of it or not, from one moment to the next, each of us has become a new person, and many religions touch on this fundamental idea of "shedding your skin" or "dying to yourself" in order to become something new and better.
