After losing in the Outlander's mind, why was that it for him?

I would guess that his spirit essentially got ****ed up enough from the fight in KOTET Chapter 9 (especially after being cut off from his power) that his spirit couldn’t resist the pull of Chaos.

Proof Valkorion couldn't come back? He cannot be destroyed by conventional means.
