Maul and Qi'ra

Based on their short convo do you think that they had ever met before that? If so, does Qi'ra know that Maul is a force user? Perhaps Dryden told her something about him.

Yes, they had met in the past. Yes, Qi'ra suspected that Maul was a Jedi or Sith.

Confirmed in the novelization.

Does Qi’ra even know the difference between a Jedi and a sith? 😄

Probably just the rudimentary stuff. ie. Jedi=good, Sith=bad.

I have:
"I regret to inform you that Dryden Vos is dead," Qi'ra said as if she reported to this figure all the time. In truth she'd only ever seen him once, and that experience had been terrifying enough.

[...]

He held out his empty hand and a metal cylinder flew into it. The hologram wasn't detailed enough for her to see what it was, but each end erupted into a glowing, red blade as if two lightsabers were held hilt-to-hilt [...] Only Jedi summoned things with the Force. Jedi and Sith Lords. She suddenly understood from where Dryden's paralyzing fear of his master originated.

That's already enough. 🙂

Reminds me of how going by the ROTS Novelization it's made clear that the average person in the galaxy is at least somewhat capable of researching them.

It makes sense since there were entire wars fought between them.

Is it possible that Qi’ra could have gotten some of her dueling Skills from Maul?

I doubt it, but it is possible, isn’t it?

Nah. Prior to the scene in Solo, Qi'ra had only met Maul once and never even seen his face.

She learned Teras Kasi from Dryden Vos, who learned from Maul.

Oh, interesting.

I haven’t had a chance to read the novel yet, so I think I should purchase it.

Sounds good.
