Despite how such remakes tend to be different for the worse, will at least keep an eye on this one. The original was great.

Book was amazing

Im Hoping it’s as good as IT though I do miss the original Juds accent.

The old OG Movie is Hilarious. I laughed all the way thru it. Hope the remake can recapture that magic.

Not read the book, but am aware of the story, but I'd expect this to stay closer to the original work, so we'd likely get a CGI Wendigo in either dream sequences or appearing in story.

Looks like shit. The randomly ominous big rig at the beginning was laughable.

Never read the book or have watched the first adaption of it.

I like the cast.

That's about all I can say confidently so far.

I think I saw some of the original film many, many years ago, but probably shouldn't even count because it's been so long.

I'm not a huge Stephen King fan. I don't usually like his writing or stories. So I haven't read much of his stuff. The Shining (Kubrick) was good because of Kubrick, not because of Stephen King's writing (although I have read that book and it's actually pretty good). Kubrick is who made that a masterpiece, though.

They are using "Sometimes dead is better" as their marketing line. lmao.

The line doesn't have near the impact as the original's heavily accented version though.

The new trailer shows Ellie, the daughter, getting run over and reanimated instead of Gage, the baby boy.
