The idea of "just switch, problem solved" sounds great on paper, but it's problematic. Why do people use social media? To socialize with others, friends and family.

Leaving makes no sense unless all you wanna do is tweet provocative things. If you intend to socialize with friends and family you probably won't have an easy time convincing them all to switch to another platform.

Yes, you really can have your cake and eat it, too. Make your own Twitter, retain your network of "friends and family" from Twitter, but without all the censorship.

Make openness and inclusion one of your Terms of Service principles, too.

Bingo. They claim time and time again they aren't bias. It's clear they are. So why won't they admit it? If it's fear of conservatives leaving then perhaps they should try to stop this bias.

Side note: thanks to twitter it really is a great time to be a journalist. You can take half a dozen tweets bashing Trump over a decision and write an entire story out of it "Twitter bashes Trump over his newest choice!".
