Magneto vs guardians of the galaxy

You think the team is going to just charge forward while they are being stripped of their equipment at best and being attacked by flying objects at worst? Magento can literally set off all the grenades Rocket and Quill have without even removing them from where they are stored like he did it X-2. He could also just hold them in place like he did to the X-Men in the first film in the Statue of Liberty with all that metal. I can't see any of them reaching him before being immobilized and turned into scraps

Couldn’t he rip people apart with magnetic fields?

In the comics he can rip people apart by targeting the iron in their blood, but in the movies he can't...he needed Mystique to inject a guard with an increased amount of iron so his powers would work on him.

Nobody was able to get past the shield, but as I said the shield came only after Apocalypse amped him so I don't know if the standard versions are capable of it.

It doesnt matter. The amp from Apocalypse never went away. Magneto and Storm and Xavier are as powerful as they were before he was killed.

Yeah there was no indication that they lost their amps. But it didn't seem as though Magnetos got amped anyway.

What? Magneto got a huge amp. He became powerful enough to screw with magnetic poles and the planet itself. And hea got that nifty Force field.

I meant Apocalypse didn't seem to amp him like he did the others. He visibly increased their powers with his own. With Magneto however, he seemed to "pep talk" him into unlocking his power on his own

Oh yeah. It seems that since he simply upgrades genetic potential, Magneto's wasn't as visually flashy as the others because he was already so powerful(in First Class at his weakest he was still chucking hundreds of missiles and blocking bullets.) he probably just needed a push in the right direction instead of a straight evolutionary jump like Storm or Angel.

Has been shown multiple times Magneto disarming those who have metal weapons. He can take something as small as a coin or necklace and kill a large group of people in seconds. Imagine what he does with swords/knifes/guns etc...

This fight will be over as quick as Magneto wants it to be. Groot is last one left standing and Magneto chops that tree down.
