But the YVHs get stronger and stronger in numbers, exponentially. One YVH being insanely durable and taking long to kill doesn't mean that much one on one, but the durability and lots of time needed to down a single opponent gets more and more important the more opponents there are.
So, basically, while 1 YVH can down Coleman Trebor, 2 YVHs should logically be able to drop Adi Gallia, but in reality, they could take Ki-Adi Mundi.
3 YVHs should be then logically able to down Koon, but actually, they may very well put down Qui-Gon.
Also, YVHs are very powerful against the Vongs, but less so against Jedi; their entire skillset and design is completely anti-Vongish, just like Vongs are completely anti-Jedish.
