A threat is when someone literally makes a statement of intent to hurt you. That was done, stop pretending.

Bingo and the goalposts kept moving. First it was he'd get violent over being called a snowflake. Then it was "Well if we were both in the UK and you wouldn't stop being rude I could get violent and probably not face any consequences". Then it was "I just meant that if you behaved this way in real life you'd get beat down" and then it was "Well yeah, if you were rude and I told you to stop and you didn't I'd get violent".
He threatened it. In the past when someone responded to him to try it and mentioned they conceal and carry...he turned that into HIM being the one threatened lol. going by what surtur claimed, whirly said something like "if anyone said that to my face id hit them", he made a general statement in the context of his day to day life, upon the condition of someone approaching him and deliberately insulting him.
this reminds me of when someone online routinely made thinly veiled threats about stalking/attacking me at my home. when i replied that anyone who assaulted me at my home would get a bullet for their trouble, i was accused of threats (by the same person).
