While that's all true, we could have easily had someone competent, like a Timmy McVeigh and co., and those bombs could have gone off at the targets or during processing at the PO.

While I do believe there is a conspiracy involved, it is not a partisan FBI conspiracy since the FBI leans conservative. At best, from what we know at the moment, the only leads persued were ones that lead investigators thought had the greatest value and merit. Any leads abandoned do not necessarily indicate some sort of conspiracy.

If the FBI has been confiscating phones and deleting evidence...where are all of these people? There'd be hundreds of them. It would be impossible to keep them quiet.

I'll give you this point: I do see fishy things happening around this event and there is clearly a cover-up at play. The details, though, I don't know and none of us can know.
