I think Thanos is the only one to survive it on pure durability, and Surfer can use his powers to protect himself [as he did against Red Shift]. Sentry keeps getting atomized/reforming. Thor dies before he even enters it just from the sheer pressure of having to be a hero.

Recent writers absolutely HATE having Thor as the main hero & MVP who saves the day, that title goes to Hulk or even Captain America and Iron-man
