In a way, our situation reminds me of the Tower of Babel. As we reach for a "God" that is our own inflated sense of self, we are losing our ability to (emotionally) communicate with one another.
We need balance. Not a return to an idyllic, fictionalized 1950s, nor full-speed ahead into self-righteous snowflakiness. Balance, between Rights and Responsibilities. This is how I see it.

The goal of the left is to turn the world into a Godless society. However, godless societies have never worked (God referring to the God of the Bible) look to Babylon, Assyria, Rome, Soviet Union, etc. These societies, however, have all collapsed by the will of the people or a stronger righteous power comes. But the left wishes to demolish the will of the people by creating a strong central government that stands for the greater "good." This is, for some reason, appealing to a lot of people. This is how the left will win, by dehumanizing the opposition and creating an authoritative totalitarian central power, twisting history to fit their views, infiltrating different religious bodies to also do their bidding. The left will win, humanity will lose.
