He was surprised that he caught up to him, but it's still ....flying and blasting a guy who's basically "who are you and what's your deal?". It's not a blitz, and Quicksilver obviously wasn't going balls to the wall either. It literally says nothing, other than the fact that Kid Gladiator's flight can catch up to Quicksilver. It was a weird A>B>C, when there was no A, B or C.

But anyway, yeah, I'd think that slapping Mjolnir away is a better feat -- maybe. In theory. Until Kid Gladiator does....something....
I mean, it depends what you're comparing them to, to say if it's shit or not. When talking about, say, Heimdall tanking Gladiator bulldozing him from a galaxy away, blocking his heat vision and plowing through it to hurt him, then yes, they are shit:

He didn't blitz Quicksilver [who we are still pretending is lightspeed based on writer's mistake, I see, while anybody who's read that run knows that he specifically is not light speed under Dan Slott], he one-shotted him with his heat vision while the latter is basically "what is this? who are you?"
