Oh, gotcha. Will have to look into that.
Yeah it's cool, we're lucky cuz my one friend has his own server lol. So there is a MASSIVE amount of stuff. Hundreds of movies and tv shows and he also puts up sports too(though I don't watch sports).
We(meaning me and the others he shares it with) chip in some money to him every now and then over it. It's worth it cuz unlike netflix if it doesn't have something you can request it and have it that day.
I just got the tv show Eureka.

Have you ever looked into Plex? It's a fantastic free service that you may find useful.
I need something to run it on that is not my computer (I would rather watch things on my TV). Hence, why I am looking for a new internet-connected blu ray player. A blu ray player is much less expensive to replace than a smart TV, and I can further justify the cost if I get one that is region-free, because then I can collect some box sets that only have region 2 releases.
Just ordered a few things.
Ordered the upcoming Super Smash Bros game to give my gf's brother for Christmas.
Ordered this for my gf for Christmas - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073ZJS4BH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And I ordered a new PC monitor for myself. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075D1B4SV/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm rezzing this thread to report on some cool things I got myself for christmas, all of which were purchased from Amazon.
Keyboard - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0721F3XBK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Mouse - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B9TVQ82/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Mousepad - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0716ZHGKT/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Keyboard is great and priced fairly well. Feels sturdy and looks good, nice to type on.
Mousepad and mouse were both bought when on sale for half price each. Would recommend both for their sale price, probably too expensive at their normal price.
The monitor I posted above is great. Going from 60hz to 144hz is pretty noticeable, everything just moves so smoothly now, even on the desktop and when browsing the internet, you notice the difference, and in competitive FPS games like CS:GO or Overwatch, it does make a difference.

Last thing I bought for myself anyway. Just some nerd shit since I had some spare money.

That one guy on YouTube, Knowing Better, said that the 144hz monitor thing is the maximum rate and anything else is overkill but that 60hz is actually more realistic.
And the comments blew up with lots of rage.
That looks like a cool book.
My gf got me this book for Christmas, God of War art book. It's really nice.
It's a good thing this thread exists. I bought a pair of autism shoes for work yesterday on amazon- cost me $60 bucks.
I went on Amazon to get the link to the shoes so I could post it here, and found out that between the time that I ordered the shoes yesterday and now, the price for them went down 20 bucks.
Sooo I canceled the order and then re-ordered it at the cheaper rate. Thanks lads. If it wasn't for this shitty thread I would never have noticed.

I was going to look into the sharing feature for my Plex Library for my BFF, but instead I just gave him my entire library and set up a Plex server on his computer/his house. Whatever new I download, I also save to an external drive and update his library every 1-2 weeks. He lives very close. The nice aspect here, if my harddrive ever takes a dump and I lose everything, I can restore it off of his.
You're thinking just like a Datacenter Director. They make 140k a year. 🙂
