Anime - my favorite Star Wars.

Hated it until I saw Dooku. Undecided if I like the animation style or not.

Already more excited for this than Ill ever be for Resistance.

Its so interesting. When the prequels came out we got a shitload of expanded universe content to flesh out the setting around those movies. At least a dozen games, hundreds of comics and novels, two tv shows. A huge amount of content.

And now we're 3 years into a new era, and what do we have to show for it? Sure we've had a Poe Dameron series, maybe a few books bridging RotJ to TFA and part of the Battlefront 2 story even takes place in the new era. But overwhelmingly the new shit we've gotten has been set in the Rebellion era.

Its so bizzare. They created this entire new timeline and yet its almost as if they're ashamed of it. At what point can we expect them to actually acknowledge that there is a Star Wars setting that takes place beyond Return of the Jedi?

Probably when the trilogy is complete.

Well love them or hate them, the prequels actually expanded the Star Wars Universe, so there was a shit ton of new worlds, Jedi lore, politics and characters to explore.

The new stuff is just the same old. Resistance, Rebellion, Rebellion, Resistance.

Damn Disney do love the Rebel, Resisting stuff.

Probably because the PT and OT eras are still the most popular on average, and as such are more likely to draw the most viewers(and therefore profit.)

So it's just animated scenes from the films? Pointless. What a dumb fcukin idea.

Seems that way -- at least initially(though it will have it's own 'spin' on the events, by the look of things.)

Don't know if the future releases/episodes will be more of the same, or if they'll be original works.

I rolled my eyes when I saw the thumbnail but the video looks surprisingly decent.
Always down for more Vader.

Same.

But I'm actually kind of excited for this.

The Vader one is lit.

So, is this canon, LigthAnt99?

It's Disney-made.

Same. Just type it up in Youtube and the UK version isn't a giant ass hole. I'm glad so many American videos block Canada though.

*Merged.

No reason to have multiple threads for this.
