She isn't my favorite, but Mariah Dillard is criminally underrated as a character. I think she is a far better and more compelling "criminal mastermind" character than Netflix Kingpin is.

HYDRA in Cap 2 because they’re competent, cool, and badass af while also having an appropriately over the top Take Over The World plan worthy of a comic book movie.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say Mariah was more compelling than Fisk, but I agree that she was an excellent character. Underrated, for sure.

Diamondback was a pitiful villain. Cottonmouth was compelling, but Mariah was by far the best villain of the Luke Cage bunch.

Thanos is the only sensible answer.

I'm not even sure why Hydra turned Bucky into a super soldier. They thought Cap was dead so it's not like it was to f*ck with him. Was it just cuz...they came across his body and decided not to be wasteful?

They'd already started the process earlier in the film, before he gets rescued by Steve from the one base (he still finds Bucky strapped to a medical chair, IIRC). So, guess they decided to finish what they started. And, based on CA:TWS & CA:CW, they did get some good use out of him over the decades.

Don’t think Thanos is much of a villain, his plan wasn’t evil. In his deluded mind he was trying to save the universe through any means.

I’m surprised Zemo isn’t in anyone’s list. He beat the avengers, and he didn’t have any super powers or a gauntlet to do it. He turned them on each other and broke them up. He got captured sure but he accomplished what he set out to do. So did Thanos but Zemo got there first.

If you do not think avenger will not die in the sequel you will be most disappointed. In the end he is the greatest villain the mcu has ever seen. Triggering your emotional response is the cherry on the top. Zemo was not powerful enough to take them on Thanos bested them all. Thanos is the most successful and powerful villain of all time.

And Zemo single handly destroyed the friendship between the Avengers! He force them to go their separate ways, he killed the King of a ruling nation. Just because Panther didn’t kill him is not a fault of Zemo’s plans, but the strength of Panther. He saw revenge as an endless cycle.

One or two will die, five tops.

Thanos plans was idiotic, and the fact that you can’t see that boggles the mind. Instead of killing half the Universe, why didn’t Thano just heal it? Or brought forth the ones that could help it? For all we know, their could’ve been a few beings that were working on a solution to save the Universe, they could have just learn the secret, and Thanos just kill them.

Thanos was a retard, a good villain, but a retard none the less.

Yep. I enjoyed Thanos, but his entire plan was stupid as all hell. Killing half the universe is nothing more than a temporary measure to the resource problem. Within a few decades, the population would be back to where it was originally.
