Eurogamer has sources claiming the same. Dusk Golem also claims it has actually had a longer development time than RE2 did. Hopefully it's all legit and they announce it soon. I really don't want to wait a year for it to come out.
I like his more elongated face, teeth, and smaller eye. Less human proportions make him look more monstrous. I also like how the skin looks stretched over his head and is barely hanging on at the jaw.
The nose is a little weird, but it's not a deal breaker for me.
What really bugs me, weirdly, is the missing open wound going up his face. The staples are there which means the cut is too, but you cant even see the muscle underneath. IMO that was one of the most recognizable parts of him.
Otherwise, he looks more menacing that ever IMO. Also, I think some changes were necessary. I'm too desensitized to OG Neme. The dude has been the post boy for RE since RE3.
Nothing could've prepared me for Nemesis with a nose. It looks so distracting! Ack! The rest of him looks great though.
And Carlos. Is there a reason he looks like a Rambo-fied Shaggy Rogers ready to raid the herb stash?
I was gonna say something about Jill but her in-game appearence actually looks normal compared to what's on the cover.

More and more rumors. The game is apparently going to be revealed at State of Play next week (Tuesday or Wednesday). I don't recognize the source, but a lot of people seem to consider it "trustworthy".

Playstation tweeted about RE. Also, that State of Play leak also leaked the SOP date before it was officially announced. We're getting a trailer 2-3 days.
