Uh huh.

"Lefty America", where the conservatives constantly **** over the poor and middle classes for the further benefit of the wealthy, voter suppression runs rampant in progressive areas of conservative states, exiting conservative officials undermine the power of incoming liberal officials, and President Republican Dumb**** alienates our allies while cozying up with our enemies.

And the LEFT make Up LIES Like THAT! And stoop to name calling.

Loony Lefties....Hell Yeah!

Tell him to get his citizenship first then we will talk.

When the opposition controls the house they always investigate the president. There were tons of investigations done by the GOP house on Obama, tons done on Bush by the dem controlled house, tons done on Clinton, etc. Usually the investigations are little more than lipservice to the voters who put them there saying "look we're checking his power", but they don't really do anything.

How many times have they re-investigated someone who not only was never president but also no longer holds an office?

You're referring to Clinton? Yeah I dunno.

My point is that them investigating Trump like they are probably going to is nothing out of the ordinary and for OP to act like they're doing something out of line is just silly. They're going to be acting in a way that the opposition house always does.

Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress are still investigating Hillary's emails...again. 😐

CDS makes TDS look benign by comparison.

No, CDS doesn't come close to the TDS. Republicans weren't crying and demanding college professors post pone exams cuz they were so damn butthurt over the email thing. They weren't protesting and destroying shit in a whiny rage over the emails either.

No other form of derangement syndrome comes anywhere close to TDS. Not Clinton Derangement, not Obama Derangement, nothing. I remember conservatives chanting "lock her up" over Hillary, as opposed to a hissy fit that has lasted over 2 years and is still ongoing over Trump.

This is where you lost the high ground of your own debate.

I wasn't seeking the moral high ground. The thing is...neither side has the moral high ground.

I would say yeah...it's out of line to waste money on pointless investigations. "Previous admins wasted money too" doesn't solve the problem. Where do we draw the line? When do we say "this shit is ridiculous" ?

And this isn't just about investigating the president lol. Democrats said they were gonna investigate the FBI over the Kavanaugh thing.

Now here I thought the FBI was sacrosanct, but nah...that's only when it's Republicans going after them.

And though it was stupid of her to use a private server for such things, she was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing, yet here we are again.

You clearly didn't pay attention to the Clinton Email debacle. It was criminal of her to keep classified/secret material on a server in her private residence, they just didn't press charges, big difference. She broke the law, they didn't prosecute her.

I dunno, probably shoulda said it 20 years ago when this kind of mentality was starting, now it's normalcy for the opposition party to investigate the president and his admin and it won't stop anytime soon. Especially so long as candidates who run on investigating said president continues winning elections.

The FBI thing is dumb though, yeah.

If we ever want it to end...it needs to stop sometime.

It's up to the voters, really. There was just an election a month ago and the candidates who ran openly on wanting to investigate Trump won a large enough majority to actually begin their investigations.

Well these things don't really help the country, lets hope people realize that sooner or later.

Investigations are going to happen anyways. The current GOP congress has still been investigating the Obama administration even though he hasn't been president in two years. There are House panels who are expected to investigate something, only thing that changes is the target.
